Frank Waitman papers, 1940-1965.

Photographic copies of essays and speeches written by Waitman and correspondence between Waitman and the Minnesota Historical Society. The speeches and essays were delivered before the Retired Men's Club of the Downtown Y.M.C.A. in St. Paul, Minnesota, and deal with the following topics: James J. Hill, the Kensington Runestone, the Minnesota Governor's Third Conference on Aging held in 1960, comments on Armistice Day, the Mennonites in Iowa, and Waitman's reminiscences. Also included is Waitman's correspondence with Arthur J. Larsen and Willoughby M. Babcock of the Minnesota Historical Society regarding the authenticity of the Indian mounds in Mounds Park, St. Paul, Minnesota.
